Cheryl Czapla grew up near Chicago. She attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Highest Distinction in Biology. She received her medical degree from Ohio State University, where she met her husband, a native Oregonian. She completed her OB/Gyn residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Czapla chose to specialize in OB/Gyn because of the unique doctor-patient relationship. She believes women are the foundation for all variations of families and helping women take care of themselves results in a stronger community. She has a special interest in contraceptive management, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys trail running, skiing, mountain biking, scuba diving and spending time with her husband and cattle dog, Roo.
