Christina Echternach

Christina first found a passion for women's health while working as an advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. A desire to have a more proactive and hands-on approach to women's health ultimately led her to midwifery where she has found her life's calling. She graduated in 2017 with a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University as a certified nurse-midwife and family nurse practitioner. She cares deeply about sharing knowledge, information and education with patients to support and empower them in making thoughtful, informed decisions about their bodies and their care.

Despite growing up on the west side of the Cascades, Christina has been in love with the high desert of Central Oregon since she first moved here in 2010. Of course, she likes to spend her free time outside biking, hiking, xc skiing and climbing, but is also pretty happy to stay inside eating and baking. She and her husband have two old, but still wild, dogs, named Lynn and Leroy.
